This Blu-ray player has had some so-so reviews based on the fact that it isn't on the bleeding edge of current generation player technology and features. Let Samsung and the others throw $500+ players at the public. Personally, I shop for value, and I found it in this player for just a little over $200 at the time of purchase. The BD movies look great, as do regular DVDs. The load time is not horrible, especially when you compare it to first-gen players. I bought into HD-DVD fairly early on, and that player took 3-4x longer for the unit to even power on fully. Basically, I would recommend this player to anyone that doesn't want to buy a PS3 anytime soon, and would like to enjoy high quality movies in either the BD or DVD format.Get more detail about Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Disc Player, Black.
