This is my first Blu-ray player and I bought it based on my experience with the other Panasonic products I own. Since it's just been introduced as their newest Blu-ray player, I haven't had it long enough to speak to its durability but if it's like Panasonic's other products, it will be durable.
Also, I haven't explored all of the features since I have yet to use the BD capabilities because I don't have it hooked up to the internet. But having said that, the picture is excellent, the controls are intuitive and so far I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.
